About Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation

Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation (SSCF) is a not-for-profit organisation, registered under Section 12A. Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation was conceived in 2008, by a group of forward-thinking individuals, under the visionary leadership of Managing Trustee, Dr. B.S. Srinath, a seasoned professional with 50 years of experience in surgical oncology.

SSCF was established to provide inclusive cancer treatment to each and every patient, with a specific emphasis on providing the best cancer treatment regardless of their socio-economic background. Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation is committed to alleviating the physical, emotional, and financial burdens faced by cancer patients and their families, while also addressing the broader societal impact of this disease.

At the heart of Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation's multifaceted approach are Shankara Cancer Hospitals in Bangalore and Bhubaneswar.

Our mission extends to the implementation of effective cancer prevention strategies and spearheading cutting-edge research in oncology through our daughter institutions - Sri Shankara National Centre for Cancer Prevention & Research and the training of healthcare personnel for optimal patient care through Sri Shankara College of Nursing and Sri Shankara Insitute of Allied Health Sciences.
